It can also lead to Insurance discounts as many insurance companies recognise the Pass Plus and discounts are awarded. Pass plus will enable you to become a more skilful driver, enabling you to gain quality driving experience. The Pass Plus course consists of a minimum 6 hours' training and there is Constant Assessment, which means there is no test at the end. If you avoid using the Motorways simply because you have never driven on one before, or simply do not feel confident enough, then this course will help you. The course consists of tuition in all aspects of motorway driving which include: Motorway Lane Discipline Use of Slip Roads (joining and leaving the Motorway) Use of Speed Overtaking The Importance of Forward Planning Dealing with Large Vehicles Top of Page   ADVANCED DRIVER TRAINING ADVANCED DRIVING is a course for drivers with some driving experience or even those who have recently passed their test. The Advanced Driver Training Course covers travelling at a speed appropriate for the road and the current traffic conditions. The Course highlights how necessary it is to plan well ahead and to always be ready to apply the prescribed system of car control when approaching and dealing with hazards. A thorough knowledge of the Highway Code is needed along with the discipline and skill required to drive according to its rules.
