Booking Your Driving Test
Make sure that you are ready for your test. You can do this by seeking advice trom an Approved Driving instructor, or an Approved Training Body. The book "The Driving Test" gives full details of what is required on your test.
For motorcycle tests, also refer to "The Motorcycling Manual". For LGV/PCV tests refer to "The Bus & Coach Driving Manual" and "The Large Goods Vehicle Driving Manual". These are available from bookshops.

This number should also be used for rebookings and other enquiries. Minicom users should telephone: 0870 01 07 372 and Welsh speakers: 0870 01 00 372.
When telephoning to make a booking please ensure that your credit or debit card is to hand and your Theory Test Certificate number and Driver Licence number are available.
If the date of your test is within 10 clear working days of your request, this is a "short notice" booking. Having accepted a "short notice" date over the telephone you cannot change it without loss of fee. Therefore, please make sure you can attend and that your Approved Driving Instructor is available before accepting the booking. Please note that to enable DSA to continually improve the high quality of customer service, some calls may be monitored or recorded for training purposes.
