Pass With Flying Colours - About Us
Pass with Flying Colours started life as nothing more than an idea that was discussed by two instructors in a transport cafe. From that conversation they decided to go away and, for the next six months, carry out extensive research on the driver training industry.
Their research consisted of trying to discover the ingredients that ensured a steady flow of enquiries and discard the ones that did not. Through many hours of market research they discovered what pupils wanted from a driving school and also what attracted them to certain schools and deterred them from others. Time after time one factor was mentioned and without it they would be forming 'just another driving school'.
That factor was, A Modern Image.
From that point everything was geared towards an image. As the target pupils would be teenagers the image had to be modem and vibrant with a memorable name. After many months of planning, and the dismissal of umpteen ideas, the nucleus of the company was born Pass with Flying Colours would offer a modem eye catching image, which would appeal to young people.
The Expansion
It wasn't long before the demand for driving lessons with the company exceeded the ability to supply and so the decision was taken to recruit other instructors, in order to provide and maintain the same high standard of service to the customers it was imperative that the instructors were offered a fair franchise package. The decision was taken that instructors would only be taken on if the demand was strong. This would ensure that all new instructors with the company would be treated as a priority with regards to receiving pupils.
The next stage was to find suitable premises for a rapidly growing company. A location was found which could maximise the ability to cater for the target pupil. And so the office of Pass With Flying Colours is situated next to a sixth form college.
The Future
Pass With Flying Colours currently operates within a catchment area of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire but is now in the process of extending into Leicestershire.
